Hi, I'm Aksels. I built Celeritas because I was fed up with the meeting tools we are all told to use. They share a set of problems that never seem to get fixed.

They are expensive for what they do, charging cloud-software prices for transcription your own computer is perfectly capable of doing. They send your conversations to the cloud, storing your most sensitive discussions on servers you do not control and cannot audit. Their transcripts are often inaccurate, especially with overlapping voices, accents, or technical terms, so you end up re-listening to the recording anyway. And after all that, not one of them turns the conversation into actual work: you still open your tracker and type the tickets by hand.

That last part is what pushed me over the edge. A meeting is only valuable if something happens afterward. So I set out to build the tool I wanted: one that records and transcribes entirely on your own machine, keeps your data private by default, and turns what was said into ready-to-push tickets for Jira, Linear, and GitHub. No bots, no cloud upload, no busywork.

A bit about me

I'm a full-stack developer with a computer science degree from the University of Latvia and a couple of years shipping production software. I built Celeritas end to end myself, from the on-device transcription to the website you are reading this on. I care about software that respects your privacy, your time, and your money, and I am building Celeritas to prove that meeting tools can do all three.

If any of this resonates, I would genuinely love to hear from you. Tell me what is broken about your current setup, and what would make you switch.
