Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DDZ SIA ("Celeritas", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use our website at https://getceleritas.com and the Celeritas application. We are the data controller. Celeritas is built privacy-first: your meeting audio and transcripts are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Authentication data: session identifiers stored in cookies to keep you signed in.
• Technical data: standard server and security logs (such as IP address and request metadata) generated by our hosting provider.

What we do not collect: your meeting audio and transcripts are created and stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to or stored by us. Tasks are only sent to a third-party tracker (such as Jira, Linear, or GitHub) at the moment you choose to push them, using your own account credentials.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

• To provide your account and the service (performance of a contract).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate sign-in and keep your session active. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Sharing and processors

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Celeritas, under appropriate agreements. These currently include our cloud hosting and database provider. Any integration you connect (Jira, Linear, GitHub) receives data only when you explicitly push a task, and is governed by that provider's own terms.

6. Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate). To exercise any right, email support@getceleritas.com.

8. International transfers

Where data is processed outside the EEA by our providers, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

Celeritas is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
